THE SEARCH IS OVER!
On September 26th, the Levy Center celebrated the grand opening of its new building with students, families, friends, community partners, and elected officials. Visitors commemorated the exciting day with a tour of the new facility and light refreshments, which were followed by a short program, including a few words from the Levy Center’s first graduate, 6-year-old Manuel Miller, who is now attending first grade in a typical school.
ALLC students, along with Mayor Andy McKenzie, city council members, Del. Tal Hutchins, Wheeling Housing Authority Director Randy Geese, and ALLC Executive Director Kathy Shapell, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony that marked this significant expansion of the program.
